This matt is so soft and flexible the chair sinks into it as if there's no matt at all. I saw it was recommended for short pile carpet and we're on a hardwood floor with industrial carpet so I figured it would be great. DOES NOT make it easier to roll the chair in fact it's worse than the carpet alone. I put it into the store room incase someone else wants it.

Better than softer mats but not perfect

Minimal packaging (label only) which is great. Delivered flat; does NOT come rolled as others I have purchased (and now discarded). Made of firm sturdy appearing plastic but is not unbendable. Plastic is softer than I like; still functional. Yes the chair casters create dents. Worse with longer day duration use high end high pile carpeting and heavier users but less of an issue than with softer mats. Bonus: This mat has not been "creeping" on my floor - great to put it in place and know it will not move!

Using it for less than a week and already has impressions from the caster wheels of the chair that are difficult to roll the chair back out of.

My husband tried it under his work chair and the chair wouldn’t move. My daughter took it to use and the chair would actually move however wherever she sat in one spot it dented in after only a couple of hours!! My daughter is not big!!! Not worth the time or money.
