I use the mat to protect a new vinyl floor that we installed in our bathroom. We use a rolling stool and the mat keeps the chair from marring the floor.

Finally a mat that does not break or crack on plush carpet. A truly wonderful product after all the ones we bought before that were inadequate and disappointing. Also way cheaper than the ones from [@]

This mat didn't work from day 1> The wheels made an immediate groove and now I can't move the chair without strenuously pushing it from a sit down position or get up to move it. Ugh I will probably return it

Does the Job...but if your weight is over 190 pounds then theres a chance that dents can appear and create a uneven rolling surface. [...]
