WE LOOKED AT OTHERS AT OTHER STORES. WE GOT 1 FROM THE OTHER STORE AND RETURNED IT TO GO GET ONE FROM STAPLES. A LOT BETTER VALUE AND MATERIAL QUALITY. LOVE IT AND WILL BE BUYING MORE IN THE FUTURE.

The plastic is To soft and to hard to roll around because you get stuck

I have bought these mats before (different products) and they all work fine at the beginning. It will take a while to see how the mat stands up to normal wear and tear.

The jury is still out

This chairmat is a little different from the three others I have tried ... the carpet grips are rectangular not pointed tacks. Will this make a difference in it longevity? The jury is out. I hope that it last longer than the 18 months (or less) the previous three prevailed before beginning to crack chip and disintegrate. I am not so concerned about the "beauty of my office carpet showing through" as I am in the chairmat's durability. Check in again in 17 months and I'll let you know if this is just another product with planned obsolescence.

Haven't had it long seems to be a typical chair mat. You should know that it is shipped flat and unpackaged and the shipping label is stuck on the smooth side with REAL GOOD glue.

Too thin to do the job!

I had bought some of these mats before at Staples a few years ago and they were great. These are a very cheap excuse for a chair mat. The plastic is so thin that the chair will not roll on it. I am not happy at all with these. They probably would work on a hard surface but not on even thin carpeting.

I got this chair mat for a home office. It's on top of some really fluffy carpeting so I do find that my wheels on my chair tend to sink in a bit and sometimes I get stuck in one place. It's on the smaller side but that's perfect for my small work space. For the price I don't feel like you could really beat it! I would recommend this for sure!
