Had a new carpet installed was looking for something o protect my new carpet the flat pile carpet mat fit perfectly and serves the purpose excellent quality no chair marks on the new carpet.

Not good for long periods of time

While it does a great job of protecting the carpet I sit for long periods of time and I found my chair casters literally "sink in" to the mat so rolling is not much easier even with this mat. I should have ordered a heavier duty mat.

Excellent Chair Mat

Although I do not have a "high pile" carpet I purchased this chair mat because I weigh well over 200 lbs and sit at my desk in front of my computer for a minimum of six hours a day. This is the type of "heavy duty" chair mat needed by someone like myself and I would recommend it to anyone weighing a minimum of 200 lbs.

Does the job but will not last

This does help the carpet under chair but will not last long. Nothing like the commercial mats in businesses.
