The mat was thinner and not as large as the previous one we had. It is o.k. but not great. We had thought of returning it and looking elsewhere however after we took the two scotch tapes that kept it in a cylinder we didn't. The residue from the scotch tape was so sticky we had to WORK to remove it with mineral spirits. Disappointing item.

I love this chair mat! I was apprehensive about buying one but I'm glad I did! My husband took over a desk and with the rolling chair the carpet was just beginning to lump so the mat took care of it!!

This would have been great if my carpet pile was thinner. I am going to order one for a thicker carpet. Plus my husband is over 200 pounds so that is another issue.

Will not support my office chair on carpet without some sort of ridged support underneath between it and the carpet!!
