Stapless 36 x 48 Carpet Protector

The carpet protector is very thin and leaves impressions of the roller legs of my desk chair. I haven't had this protector for a long time maybe a month or less. I can tell that it is not going to last.

This is almost useless because it is thin plastic and the chair wheels sink right into it. I thought I was getting something firm to help the chair rollers move in and out under my desk. NOT what I wanted at all.

Seems to be working fine after 1 whole day of use. Just wish there were more options for different sizes. Free shipping to home is a nice touch !

GOOD CARPET PROTECTOR

This is my second purchase of this product. The first lasted between two and three years. This mat seems better than the prior mat. I believe that this one is heavier i.e. it is a thicker mat. It's too soon for me to say how it will last. As mentioned I believe that the prior mat was a little-bit lighter than this one. So I'm expecting this one to last longer. Even if it only lasts two year I believe that it's a good value. I replaced the old mat because it had developed some cracks. After two year that's probably okay. I use the mat in a home-office environment. I have a chair that sits on the mat. I sit in the chair for all the work I do on my computer. The mat sits on a wall-to-wall carpet that is in the room use for an office. The prior carpet protector did a commendable job of protecting my carpet. The current one (the one being reviewed) appears to have the same potential.

Medium pile carpet chair mat

Not as thick as I thought it would be. My chair creates temporary pockets that then make it hard to move the chair - seems as if the chair is stuck in n a valley. Seems to be durable and it ahears well to the carpet .
