Flexes under chair wheels. Improvement?

This chair mat flexes under the weight of a chair's wheels so an occupied chair stays in place unless given a definite scoot. It's soft enough to be rolled up so it's easy for one person to wrangle it into place especially since its gripping side has a pattern of alternating little rectangular cleats instead of pointy spikes. Grips carpet well. Five stars for home office/dorm use.

Purchased this mat to replace my last one that had last over 6 years. I also have one at work that has lasted close to 10 years. This mat didn't last 18 months. Extremely disappointed.

Chairmat for medium pile carpets 36 x 48

My office chair sinks into this mat as if it was made for thinner carpets. The cleats on the back of the mat might be made for thinner carpets. The mat seems to be well made and is comfortable on your feet.
