Very thin plastic that will not support the weight of a substantial swivel desk chair. Not a good value for the price.

new chair protector seems fine. a little hard to vaccuum next to as it hits the edge instead of a gentle slope up.

I didn't realize when reading description that pile vs. not would make a large difference. I have trouble rolling my chair and 'feel' the spikes when I roll.
