The chair mat is the same size as the one it is replacing and is thick enough to have minimal dents from the chair wheels. Very happy with it so far.

It works out pretty well - however for a medium pile carpet it doesn't grip as much as I thought it would. I have to occasionally put it back from under the computer table. But I do like the ease of moving a chair on and off of it.
