The new mat is exactly like the one I had before which lasted several years. I'm sure I'll be very happy with the new one. It was nice having it shipped to the store for pickup.

Be sure to take measurements under your desk prior to ordering this one. Other than its size this is an amazing chair mat! We had been purchasing the cheaper option and replacing them almost yearly. This one should last us a few years! Love that the edges are beveled for easy chair movements too.

Product was delivered and just left at the front door in the mid-day sun. The materiel softened and it folded itself over. It took forever to get it to lay flat on the floor. Next time I will make sure it has the tapered lip since the square edge has already become a tripping hazard. This one seems to be thinner and not as rigid as the one it replaced which was purchased at Staples about 5 years ago.
