Too expensive
on February 28, 2011

#9 envelopes are too expensive compared to #10 which are slightly larger. I use the #9 envelope and place it in a #10 envelope because of requirements placed on me. I would rather buy #9 envelopes at a lower price or be able to buy a smaller quantity.

Perfect FIt

As a non-profit we send out fundraising letters and the #9 envelope fits into the #10 and is used for the return responses. Perfect.

Product OK wanted smaller quantity

Product is fine. Needed smaller size package as was available for #10 envelopes (like 100 or so) but it was unavailable in the store. This is really not appropriate for a local store.

Good Standard #9's

They are a good standard #9 envelope. They jammed a number of times while feeding into my laser printer.

The pricing has to be more competitive for businesses. Only purchased because we were in a bind.

Way over priced
on October 26, 2010

These envelopes are way over priced at a lot more than $20 for 500 commodity #9 envelopes. I was desparate and did not have time to get to my normal paper store where the price for the same product is less than $9 for 500 envelopes.

I use these for photos and mailing CDs and DVDs. Just the right size.

Decent Value for Price

The Staples brand envelopes are 24# in weight but feel more like 20# so I would go light on the contents.
