My hobby is entering sweepstakes. When a SASE is requested the #9 envelopes are perfect to insert in a #10.

Great return envelopes

These return envelopes are great. They go through my laser printers very well to print addresses on them. Some of the other brands I have used in the past had the flaps partly stuck down. The flaps on these Staples envelopes were all free but still went though the laser printer without jamming. The paper the envelopes are made from is heavy and should hold up to the mail system very well. The only complaint I have with the #9 envelopes is the cost I am not sure why the smaller #9 envelopes should cost so much more than the #10 envelopes.

Overcharging on a Necessity

There is no need to make these Co.9 Envelopes cost 3 times that of their big brother's the co. 10 Envelopes. I still buy them because I need them however if I ever find someone who charges a normal price for them Staples will not be getting my business.

When asked to review my purchase of Staples #9 Standard Business Gummed Envelopes 500/Box I thought "Wow what an honor! Perhaps someone has finally realized that I am an expert with office supplies after all these years!"Having said that I have to say that they are a useful part of my office supplies arsenal. They are used regularly on Fridays as a privacy measure when handing out pay checks.
