These envelopes are very easy to close with no licking and getting a bad taste in your mouth. Just pull the paper tab off the sticky part and seal up your envelope. Easy at that!
These were great to work with. We used them for a mass mailing for an event that I was planning and the self adhesive actually turned out to be more of a blessing that we thought as we were stuffing. We had to open each one and put in an element that we forgot when we orignally stuffed and the envelopes opened and resealed perfectly. It was so much better than licking 600 envelopes closed and having that taste left after the episode for days. I would use this product again in a hearbeat and would recommend it as well.
I have been using the Staples EasyClose envelopes for the last decade. They seal tightly without having to use additional tape. In addition I would not recommend licking inanimate objects like envelopes since that is just wrong. That is why I only use self sealing envelopes like the Staples EasyClose because they work well. I always buy them in the 500 per box since that offers a better value than the 50 per box or smaller quantities.
I need envelpes for a couple of mass mailings. Just over 100 in the first mailing. Over half were stuck together and had to be torn apart. I had labeled and stamped them prior to stuffing. The self seal strip on the top was uneven. It apered from thickest on the left (about 3/8") to zero on the right on numerous envelopes. To utilize the 400 left I will stuff and seal first then lable and atamp! If they are to stuck together (they literly have to torn abart) at least now I can pitch them without having to runall new lables and losing the postage stamps.
