I thought from the description that they were also security envelopes but other than that I was pleased

The Staples self-close envelopes do not stay closed. The glue is not strong enough. They open almost immediately and need to have tape added to make sure they do not open en-route. I would not recommend it.

I like the idea and will keep using them but the flaps don’t always stick well.

The envelopes themselves are nice. The easy close feature is nice. However many of the envelopes in my bulk mailing did not stay sealed and I spent too much time reinforcing the closure.

The "sticky" for easy closure does not work well. I had to buy a roll of scotch tape on a recent trip to get them to stay closed..... I was doing a large mailing while out of town.
