Huge Mistake!!!

These were a huge mistake. I bought a box of 500 and the strips would not come off easily at all. When you did get them off most of the "gum seal" came off on the strip or your fingers or the strip ripped and was stuck on the envelope. I will never buy this stapes brand product again.

No sealed envelopes before being used

In the humid weather we have been having regular envelopes seal themselves. Not these.

Out of 1500 envelopes only two were stuck together. Good product for the price but not a quality item.

Convenient but glue pulls off

Used for 300 piece mailing. Envelopes easy to use but after you pull off the strip some of the glue comes off in little sticky balls and attaches to your fingers. Had to stop several times to clean hands which were sticking to everything.

Not quite ready for prime time

You wouldn't think there would be a significant difference between name-brand and Staples-brand envelopes. The whole purpose of getting these over standard envelopes is the peel & stick feature. Unfortunately all of us in my office that have used these have found them difficult to peel. I've used a name brand product in the past and this has never been an issue. The Staples brand however was problematic enough that it negated much of the "peel" benefit. They still work of course and are better than licking (or otherwise dampening) standard envelopes but just barely.
