wood grain chair mat

After two months of light use it is holding up well. It is packaged in a giant roll at the store so I left heavy objects on it over the weekend and then it laid nice and flat. The wood grain pattern repeats about every 16" and is parallel to the shorter dimension as the stock image suggests. Much more incognito than those "transparent" mats that may still draw attention to the fact you've laid a giant sheet of plastic on the floor.

Floor Mat

I purchased one of the Staples Leminate Chair Mat for hard wood floors in cherry and am totally pleased with it. My office is in a older school buidling and when the renovation was done they painted part of the hard wood floor to "add character" to the room. My chair sits exactly on the area where the paint meets the hard wood that only has polyurethane on it. The wheels on the chair had rubbed the floor so that the paint was chipped and peeling and the floor looked terrible. The maintenance man for the building came and repaired the floor while I was on vacation and I did not want to ruin it again. So i found the floor mat and it is the exact same color as the paint on my office floor. Now I can move the chair and not worry about ruining the floor in the old restored building and the mat fits in and doesn't stand out or look bad. We had to put in another desk and that chair sat on the same area plus had a cable on the floor. So I went and bought another mat for that area. It works great to cover the floor and the cable. Perfect solution for both problems.

This is a great floor mat and looks really nice with the hard wood floors in our office. The floor mat adds a professional finished look to our office while protecting our floors.

this looks great on the website but i was dissatisfied with it... not very dissatisfied but just dissatisfied... the weight was heavier than i thought... that's good i guess so it will hopefully last longer... i am a bang for the buck type of person so for the money this is not worth it... i thought it would be bigger/cover more space on the floor... the material feels cheap. it should be more of a square rather than rectangle. I haven't had it long so we'll see if i like it more after some time with it...

Excellent Alternative Floor Mat

I started to buy the standard plastic floor mat and had one in hand when I noticed this product. Not only does the wood color blend in with my wood floor better but the underside of the mat is antiskid so the mat stays in place better than a plastic mat would. I would highly recommend this product as it is more aesthetically pleasing than a standard plastic mat and it was roughly the same price. I had no idea that this type of product existed until I happened to notice it at the store. I am very pleased with the purchase.
