Wood Veneer Style Chair Mat for Hard Floors

I wanted a wood looking mat for under my desk chair that didn't cost a fortune. This one was well priced but I failed to note it was intended for use on hard floors. My floor is plush carpeting. I am keeping it anyway since it makes my desk chair roll easier and I am not a heavy person. Don't know how long it will last. Would not advise it for someone who weighs more than 130lbs and is trying to use the mat on a carpeted floor. Too bad the other wood looking mats were sooooo expensive.

Functional but not sure how well it will hold up

First off the color isn't Cherry. The way it shows up in the picture online is much closer to its true color; much less red than Cherry. That's OK for me as I wanted more brown less red and it matches my hardwood floor really well. The rest of the description is somewhat misleading as well. It should be described as a 1/8" Vinyl sheet that's printed to look like wood. So far it's functioned perfectly but I have no idea how durable it will be in the long term. Also one other thing to note is the direction of the grain of the simulated wood. The grain runs perpendicular to the long side of the mat. Take a look at your floor to be sure you'll be satisfied with the direction you'll have to place the mat if you want it to match the direction of the grain in your floor.

This mat is great. I'm not having any static problem it's easy to move around on and it looks great. The price was quite reasonable too.

Chair Mat for Hardwood Floors

I wanted a desk chair mat for use on the hardwood floors in my home office. This laminate chair mat was not stocked by my local Staples store but they ordered it for me and surprisingly enough it was delivered (at no additional cost) to me the very next day! I couldn't have asked for better service. The mat works just as intended and I'm happy with my purchase!
