Cheap plastic slippery mat
on September 9, 2025

I was looking for a better quality wooden chair mat and got this instead. It came as a rolled up plastic sheet no box no string no plastic cover. When I put it on my wood floor it slipped all over the place. What a disappointment am returning it to Staples. Some years ago I bought a nice bamboo slat chair mat at our local Staples store and it has served me well. Do not buy this mat expecting it to be of any quality.

The chair mat is so much better than the flat clear chair mats. I don't hear any cracking from moving my chair over this mat.

Great floor mat for office chairs

Thin enough to keep from snagging the wheels on the chair yet sturdy and attractive looking.

I am very happy with the quality price and manageability as it stayed flat from the beginning unlike others that I had before. It is very easy to roll my chair back and forth and it looks like it will last.

I have low-pile carpet and my previous chair mat had a mind of its own sliding under my desk and causing a tripping hazard. This one hasn't moved an inch in 2 weeks! Success!

Recommend it for rolling office chairs on laminate floors. You can tell by its thickness it will last for a long time.
