Instead of rolling the mat. the packer forced it into a S shape and jammed it into the box. It has now been a week of sitting on the floor in my house and it has still not flattened out.

We’re very sorry to hear that your recently ordered the hard floor chair mat and it arrived damaged. We would like to make this right by providing you with 2 options. If you would prefer to keep the product as is we’re willing to provide you with a discount. The second option would be to process an exchange to have the damaged mat returned and a new one shipped back out to you. Please contact us by phone at 1-800-333-3330 option 3 or chat with us live to let us know what you decided. https://www.staples.com/hc

I sm using it now on a low pile commercial carpet until i have my hardwood floor installed and it feels good already if i stay in one spot too long small divots form (due to carpet underneath i beleive) but as i move the mat regains smooth surface immediately. Nice smooth quiet glide and cleaning is a breeze.

Soooo far the mat has worked well for me....no slipping wheels of the chair roll much better now and it stay flat to the floor i.e. Ends do not curl up. Well worth the $$ I spent. I do recommend this product.

Does just what it is intended to do and looks nice also. Won't cure the pandemic but it will protect your floor and your stocking feet.
