The file is listed as 2 inches expansion but if you put a 8.5 inches paper in there’s no room. If you have a file of 10 pages or more your file will be crunched and curled up at the edges. We also paid extra for the “2 inches”.

Since the expansion is accomplished via folding at the scoring versus an accordion what you find is that the Fastners on one side can make your stack of papers come up short against your fold. Your solution is to hole punch the documents for the right-hand side of the file off center based on where that fold is. Who has time to play around with that?
