Great for privacy

No licking and privacy tinted just what I need in an envelope. I don't mail a lot but when I do I want it to be private so this product is perfect for that and not having to lick a nasty envelope is an added bonus.

Definitely tear resistant however...

These envelopes were definitely tear resistant even tear proof (I was unable to tear it at any of the folded seams) however I didn't not think that the adhesive to seal the envelope was very strong. I tested the seal on two different envelopes leaving one sealed for a fewhile minutes before trying to open and the other for approx 6 + hours. Both did not have a strong seal when I pulled it apart pulling up very easily. There were a few places I could see some of the envelope peeled up with the adhesive but for the most part it just peeled right up. The one I left for several hours did have a better seal but still not great. All in all I would recommend these because they definitely would not get torn up in the mail and will use the ones I received. I just wish the adhesive was a bit stronger at the seal but I don't feel it will affect mailing anything. The security feature was also nice to have for sensitive information.

These envelopes are great. I use them for payroll checks. Fast and efficient with the tear off strips. No licking just seal. Also provides the privacy needed for payroll.
