Great envelopes!

I think the Staples’ Tear-Resistant #10 Envelopes are great with some minor downsides. This envelope is a standard sized envelope that you think so when you mail letters. The #10 size envelope fits standard letter-size paper and comes 100 to a box. The envelope features a peel off on the back to reveal the sticky adhesive which seals the envelope without the need for you to lick the adhesive this is a big positive. The envelope also has blue designs on the inside as privacy protection to prevent people from seeing what is inside the envelope. I find that if the paper inside the envelope is too thin then you are still able to see through the envelope when hold it up against the light for example a receipt (this is the only downside). If you were mailing out a check I would take another sheet of paper and wrap it around your check then place in the envelope. I do that now with non-privacy envelopes and it works well. Overall I like this envelope and it saves me time with the peel off adhesive on the back. I would pick this up next time I am out of envelopes.

I really like these envelopes for many reasons. They are more durable compared to most others I also love that they stick to seal! Makes it feel more secure. I would definitely recommend these.

Definitely tear resistant however...

These envelopes were definitely tear resistant even tear proof (I was unable to tear it at any of the folded seams) however I didn't not think that the adhesive to seal the envelope was very strong. I tested the seal on two different envelopes leaving one sealed for a fewhile minutes before trying to open and the other for approx 6 + hours. Both did not have a strong seal when I pulled it apart pulling up very easily. There were a few places I could see some of the envelope peeled up with the adhesive but for the most part it just peeled right up. The one I left for several hours did have a better seal but still not great. All in all I would recommend these because they definitely would not get torn up in the mail and will use the ones I received. I just wish the adhesive was a bit stronger at the seal but I don't feel it will affect mailing anything. The security feature was also nice to have for sensitive information.

Impressed With The Feel And Strength

I have a ton of envelopes at home. Most that look like the Staples Tear-Resistant #10 Envelopes. So looking at the box I wasn't all that impressed. But when I am looking to mail something I could care less about what the envelope came in. When I received my order my box was a little wet because of the torrential rain we had recently. So I thought the quality of the envelopes may suffer a bit. Nope. Sure didn't! I tested these puppies out and I was surprised. I attempted to rip the envelope (not with ALL my might but with good force) and the envelope only wrinkled a bit. They feel like normal paper envelopes - not like Teflon. The flap stays on pretty well and does not tear the envelop when attempting to open them. I also put paper in the envelope to see how hard it would be to see through the envelopes. Nearly impossible. So I have to give these envelopes a 5/5 rating and I would definitely recommend them if you want sturdy envelopes that can withstand a tug and pull hear and there.

These legal sized envelopes are true to their claim. The are resistant to moisture and tear free. The self adhesive component is also a plus. I have had mail torn open and items stolen before so I would feel much more confident sending personal information in these envelopes. Great product!!

I really love these envelopes as they add a sense of security. They are really tear resistant as I tried numerous times to tear this envelope open. In addition if you ever need to send any important documents in the mail I would definitely recommend these envelopes. These are great to have around the office and your home. Furthermore you don't have to lick the envelope which I really like. You just peel back the protective film and seal your envelope. I will definitely suggest these envelopes to family and friends.

I think these envelopes are great! They are the perfect size and they came in handy based on the fact that they seal themselves and you don't have to lick/wet the envelope to seal it! I personally think these are great envelopes and would totally buy again!

The Staples Tear-Resistant #10 Envelopes are awesome for multiple reasons. 1. They're tear-resistant. 2. The privacy-tint will keep you from being worried about sending private mail. 3. You don't have to lick it to seal it. The seal is super sticky and once you close the envelope there is no way to get back in unless you rip it open! I will definitely be using these again!
