The Staples Tear-Resistant envelopes are incredible! I opened my first box and immediately wanted to test and see if I could tear them. I couldn't my wife couldn't and both of my brothers couldn't. They are durable and also have privacy sealing. I was quite impressed with them. I couldn't imagine ever having such a high review for an envelope but after using these it will be hard to go back to original envelopes ever again.

I think these are awesome! I HATE having to lick envelopes closed and these you don't have too. I also like that they aren't thin and you can't see into the envelope to see what's inside. You have security knowing that when you mail this document or letter it's secure from not only the seal but because it's not transparent. I work in an industry where you always have to maintain confidentality at all cost. With the environment we have to protect our information and this envelope helps. It's another barrier of protection. I would certainly recommend this product.

Evelopes don't have to lick to stick they have the adhesive stick and you can't see through the envelopes.

Amazingly Durable with Minor Flaws!

*Won't tear without lots effort and pretty resistant to moisture. Nearly unbelievable! Highly recommended.* Staples Tear-Resistant envelopes are extremely durable with minor flaws. They are nearly tear resistant. The only places to tear the envelope with little effort is at the creases where the envelope is folded to form the envelope itself. When the envelope is sealed properly it is still very tear resistant but the biggest flaw of this envelope is that it doesn't seal well and it is very easy to open at the seal site. I allowed the envelope to stay properly sealed for a full 24 hours before opening and the seal was very easy to open with little effort. The great news about the Staples Tear-Resistant envelope is that it is pretty resistant to high levels of moisture. I submerged an envelope in water with an index card securely sealed inside. After about 10 minutes of the envelope being submerged I opened it and the index card was completely dry. I also wrote on the outside of the envelope and the ink smeared minutely but the words were there and very readable. My overall impression of this envelope is very high regardless of the minor flaws that I discovered. I would highly recommend this envelope to anyone who sends unimportant documents and letters through their United States Postal Service office.

Ultimate Time saver!

Overall I am very pleased with this product. These standard sized envelopes are perfect for mailing out letters. I always appreciate a product that allows me to save a bit of time and this is definitely the case! I no longer have to take time to lick the envelope (can we talk about a gross taste) or grab tape and glue. This self adhesive envelope from staples is a dream!
