I received the tear resistant privacy tint envelopes from Staples for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion. These days most payments are submitted electronically but there are times when I need to send a check. I'm used to wrapping the check in paper before I put it in the envelope as I don't want others to see it. This was my first test - it passed! You can't see the check in there so no one would have any clue what is in the envelope. Second you don't have to lick the envelope as it is self-adhesive. Third I put water on the envelope to see if it would tear. It didn't right after so I left the water on for awhile (as if it had been sitting in the rain) - and it still didn't tear! This envelope passed the test for the three important factors I like in an envelope. I definitely would recommend this product!

The materials these envelopes are made from are amazing. They are super sturdy. The fact that you are able to send out important documents without being able to see them right through the envelope is great. They are extremely easy to seal. You can choose to buy the 100 pack or the 500 pack. They are on sale for a reasonable price. One negative would be that fitting many pages in this envelop will cause it to bulk up and even open.

Tear Resistant White Envelopes

I think that this product is really good. It cannot be ripped and the peel away closing system is really helpful and good for the elderly. I would want to know how much this product would cost before I got it. If I am going to send an important document or just a letter to a friend I will definitely be using these.

these envelopes are much easier for me to you not only do like them I don't have to "lick the envelope to seal it"and that's alright with me I didn't like the taste of that glue. these are very helpful because all I do is take the paper off where the glue is and seal it. thank you

Love the envelopes but they were sent in a soft plastic bag and the box containing them was mashed & virtually destroyed. As a result the envelopes are useable but not in the best shape.

I don't know about you but I absolutely dread it when I have to send out a million envelopes and have to lick all of them. These Staples Tear-Resistant #10 envelopes are a absolute lifesaver! Right from the get go when you take the envelope out of the box they feel like they're very high quality. They're thick and sturdy. The absolute best thing about the envelopes though is that you can simply peel a strip off of the back of the envelope and it seals it for you. The seal is tight and secure so you won't need to worry about the item you're mailing falling out. No more licking envelopes and no more worrying about if your mail item will come out of the envelope...what more could you ask for in a envelope?!
