I did not buy the Carpet Chair Mat for my floor. I used it to stop water from getting into my house from the pool area during recent heavy rains. It was excellent for that purpose.

I think it's probably a good product but it doesn't work well on my carpet. My chair doesn't roll easy like it did with the solid plastic mat. I'm making it work but will replace when I can.

This product fails to fulfill its main purpose. It is too thin and short periods in the chair produce deep indentations in the mat that persist for days. A similar product without a lip is slightly better but still fails to meet expectations. Staples' store does not appear to have an alternative product that would withstand the pressure of a 150 pound person sitting for more than 15 minutes.

This chair mat slides around like crazy. The small nubs on the bottom of the mat are nowhere near long enough to grip the carpet. I do not recommend.
