The mat I replaced was 3 mm thick and lasted 25 years. This one unexpectedly came in quite a bit thinner. I don't think it's durable enough for sitting at the computer on a rolling office chair. It is already showing signs of wear.

Great product but the Staples associate taped it into a roll for easy carry. Good idea but it left tape sticky all over the top surface of the mat. I got it off but took the gloss off the mat - no big deal but next time roll it up with the underside out!

I would give it a half star if I could. We just returned it after only 2 1/2 weeks. The chair was digging into it already very thin would not slide. We returned it and bought something else. Quality was poor.
