Do not buy this mat

I bought this for my home office that has Berber carpet. From the start it would get indents from the chair wheels. After a little over a year it is cracked and falling apart. I am not a large person so it should have lasted longer. I called customer service and they were very helpful trading this one in for the heavy duty one. Hopefully it will last longer than one year.

A flexible chart mat good quality but the cleats seem too short for a 3/8" pile carpet. Probably great on Berber or loop. It takes some effort to move my chair out of the wheel indentations. But they don't remain after moving the chair so better than most low-priced carpet chair mats.

I was a little confused by description online and what I actually got. The description says low pile carpet mat but the product was actually labeled berber carpet mat. However I have shoved it under the edge of my desk where it can't move so working okay with my low pile carpet. However my biggest disappointment is that it is already getting dents from chair wheels. I was hoping with this expensive of a product it would be sturdy. I am not overweight 140 pounds and I only sit here a few hours a week. Again disappointing I try to move wheels around to prevent this but only so many places 5 wheels can go on a carpet chair pad.

The mat is fine but let it 'air' out before using it

The mat was delivered and I immediately put it in my home office. However through the day a headache developed and wouldn't go away. It wasn't until I left the house and the headache went away that I realized that the noxious fumes from the plastic gave me a headache. So while the mat seems fine try to remember to let it air out before using it.

Poor. Not suitable for Berber

Extremely poor quality. Would not lie flat despite resting heavy weights on it for 4 days. Flexes too much under the chair wheels (I weigh only 145 lb.) Expensive given the quality.

We purchased our second Carpet Chair Mat since the first one started to break up. We liked the first one enough to purchase a second one from Staples where we bought the first one. It works fine and is reasonably priced.
