I have a plush carpet where my rolling chair was causing fuzz but with this matt it helped eliminate that. Its flexible and the chair sits nicely on top of it. If you're looking for something stiff so you're chair will roll quickly this is not the mat for you. It is strong but as mentioned before it's flexible so the chair with my weight on it will slightly mold into the mat. Im 140lbs. To roll the chair around is fine though and protects the carpet.

I ordered 3 floor mats and they were not shipped in boxes. They just had a label slapped on them and put on a UPS truck. The plastic got bent from being upright and they have taken a couple of weeks to flatten out. Pick these up in the store if you have that option.

This is working out perfectly to protect my wood floor. I spend hours at my sewing machine and rolling back and forth was starting to mark up the floor. This only moves about 1/2” throughout the day and it will be easy to sweep or even vacuum . I highly recommend it for wood floors; don’t expect it to work as well on carpeting as that is not what it is made for.

I bought it in person and really like the price but it was too flimsy for the carpet. My chair and weight made big indents into the mat and hard to roll my chair around. It would flatten on its own. If I didn't have carpet. It would probably work better. I returned it.
