The mat arrived as promised. I decided to get this after working from home and noticing my carpet was showing some wear. This should take care of it. The only issue I have is it seems to be taking a while to totally flatten out. The best thing is that the backing will not let this thing move around at all!

I saw many different reviews before ordering. I ordered this because of the price. However I may have to send it back. It is thin does sink in to the carpet as many described. Serves somewhat of it’s purpose but don’t believe it will last long. If you need something to get you buy for a short period; this may be for you. Maybe it’s for a work office commercial carpet or wood floors. I would say this would work. I have carpet in my home office and it just not cutting it. I hope this helps.

Should have listened to a couple other reviews- it comes in a roll sealed with tape that’s next to impossible to remove without leaving a sticky area the size of the tape. We spent about 30 minutes trying to remove the stickiness with “Goof-Off” and nail polish remover to no avail. Some of the stuff came off but the basic gunk stayed behind. Don’t get me wrong it’s a great mat and is exactly as advertised but the sticky issue kinda kills the benefits. I’d give it four stars based on the product but less because of the glue residue issue. The manufacturer ought to pay attention to the problem as its serious and brought up several times by others.

I was disappointed with this mat. It was described as suitable to work on a commercial style carpet up to 3/8" thick. My carpet is correct to the description. I believe I ordered a direct replacement for what I had been using but this new mat seems softer and the casters of the chair leaves indentations in the mat. My original mat did not react that way. This is my only complaint.
