I purchased for my home office as I was tired of my office chair wheels catching on the carpet. This mat is the perfect size for the space and keeps my chair wheels from ruining the carpet fibers. Too thin even for low pile carpet. Chair casters sink right in and leave ruts in the carpet. Might be good on hard wood or tile floors.

Carpet Mat replacements for home office

Excellent job by staples delivery was next day and the driver rang the front door bell for delivery. Social distancing was practiced no physic contact items placed at front door. The mats are on the thin side compared to the units being replaced but for the price they should last a while. The old ones were all cracked and starting to break apart. These might not be good for deep pile as the chair does tend to sink in a little on regular carpet.
