The chair mat is fine. The delivery was disappointing. This item is plastic with sharp hooks on the bottom of it. The item was not packaged flat and was all curled because of that. I needed to place large items on it for several days in order to flatten the mat out. This is not the type of service I expect from Staples. When the chair mats are purchased in the store they are stored flat. Why wasn't it delivered in the same manner.

I read lots of reviews where the mats were not thick enough for their carpet so I'm glad I spent more for this thicker version. It's worked well and I only wish the front extension went just a touch farther I've also had a slight bit of rolling on occasion but I slid it out from the furniture it was pressed against and that resolved. Overall I'm very pleased and it's definitely saving the carpet from this chair as the wheels were a bit harsher than my old chair.

Just received this product a few days ago. i like that it does not slip on my carpet. However there are indents where the chair has landed. This make it difficult to move the chair around. I don't recommend it.

It's a good chair mat especially for the price but the description is not accurate. The pile nubs on the bottom are NOT 3/8" long they are 1/8" at best. I don't think this is going to hold up well on my carpet in the long run. But the larger pile mats are so much more expensive that I'll just keep this and hope it lasts until I'm no longer working from home.
