The mat served our purposes for the most part of having a mat for rolling my chair on top of my carpet. But the mat is a little on the thin side and so the wheels are already making dips in it. I sort of wish that I'd bought something sturdier.

this mat is thin and develops depressions after a week or two over medium plush carpet. i would not recommend it.

This large chair mat works out nicely. I had the same but smaller size for several years. It is used on a carpet and stays in place. With the larger size/area it works better when moving around with the chair. I was disappointed about how it was delivered: it was not wrapped in any packaging at all and the delivery person just threw it over the gate. Needless to say that it was somewhat scratched and very dirty due to the missing protective packaging and the handling by the delivery person. I called Staples and they told me that these chair mats don't get packaged. It should have been stated in the product details. I would not have bought it without packaging. I pay money to buy a new product and want it delivered in pristine condition.
