Matt was too soft and sinks into the very short carpet. Chair won't even move. I guess we'll have to order an even thicker one. Says it works up to a 3/4" carpet and this is shorter than that but it still doesn't work.

This floor mat was too thin. I was afraid it would wear out far too quickly. I ended up ordering a more sturdy version of the mat.

When it became apparent I'd be working at home for a while I realized I needed something to protect our new carpet in my home office space. This mat works as expected although the chair leaves divots in it. But the carpet underneath is fine after being vacuumed.
