Too flimsy; already getting wheels making indents in the mat. Nothing in material about the the mat indicated that a 50 lb chair (purchased from Staples) sat in by an average adult would create dents in the mat.
When I received the mat I was really looking forward to using it but when I finally got it out of the box and started to unroll it I could barely move it. I thought it might be because it was cold but that made no difference. I struggled to open the mat so had to have someone help me. It took at least 10-15 minutes to finally get it unrolled and then I had to lay on it to get it to release a little bit so we could turn it over. I then put things on top of it to help it lay flat and it stayed that way for two days and when I thought I was ok I turned it back over only to find that the edges rolled back up. So for a week I have been laying things that are very heavy on the edges but to no avail they still turn up. I am returning the mat.
This chair mat must be marked incorrectly. It is extremely soft and the studs on the bottom are very short... certainly not for a medium depth carpet. The empty chair makes divots just sitting there.
The. At arrived on my doorstep with no packaging aside from the shipping not8ce. There was no label or warranty info. It saws unwrapped ...just leaning against my door! I made sure to get it to room temperat7re. It may a bit flimsy but time will tell.
We recently replaced our office chair plastic floor rug protector mat - which we also bought at Staples. It lasted ten years of heavy use. We hope the new one will too. We shop at Staples in Solana Beach because of the good quality merchandise fair pricing and helpful staff.
