After one day with my chair on the mat it had indented to the place where the wheels on my chair would catch on the indentations so it would not roll smoothly.

Nice and inexpensive mat. I need a chair mat for my carpet now that we are working from home. The spikes under this one are not sharp but still grips the carpet firmly. Might not work for the short/berber carpet.
