This mat is the perfect size for my desk. However it was shipped in an open top box with tape across the entire opening sticking to the mat. My husband and I have spent over two hours trying to remove the glue residue from the tape. We finally gave up and hope that it will wear off but in the meantime my chair casters stick as I roll across. Not sure who made the unwise decision to ship it this way but it has changed the way I feel about ordering online (which was my only option for this size mat). I would have returned it but was afraid that the replacement would come the same way and we'd start all over.

Item is fine for the price plastic is thin and chair leaves indentations but still better than having the chair directly on the carpet. Mat does slide away from desk over time and needs to be adjusted. In the future I would go with a higher quality product but this worked in the pinch.

A lot better than trying to roll right on the carpet but after sitting it one spot a while it does allow the casters to sink enough that it takes a little effort to move again to get it out of the "ruts" After you move then the mat will eventually flatten out again. Overall I'm happy with it. I do like the fact that it is made in USA.

The plastic does it's job in allowing you to move freely but the problem I noticed is if I sit too long in one position little divots form in the plastic and I am almost stuck in a pothole. It's the quality you get at the price you want to pay. That being said the plastic is not thin or flimsy so if you're more up and down than this might work for you.
