Early on these chair mats are flexible and work well with my rolling desk chair on carpet. But they eventually crack. How long will this one last?

Hopefully this one will last longer because it was hanging and not rolled up. At least that is my wish. The ones that I have purchased rolled up in the past haven't lasted very long 6 to 9 months.
