Had to return it

Had to return it because the store does not keep it flat but rolls it up and puts tape around it to hold it. The tape leaves a thick glue deposit which is impossible to easily remove. This did not happen in the past when they stored them flat. To add to what I wrote above after several months the plastic breaks down into little very sharp pieces and the mat needs to be replaced.

If it wasn't such a PIA to take it up again now that it's arranged (small office furniture on edges)i'd send it back - dents in it same morning i put it down. the company label came off easily[...]. VERY DISAPPOINTED

This was suppose to handle carpet of mid thickness but it doesn't. The mat gets divits and does not roll well. I only weigh 130lbs!

Works just as adequately as more expensive models yet greater thickness would only net more $$ & durability. For home office use I'm content!

I use the chair mat on my painted concrete floor because the rollers on the computer chair wear away the paint on the floor. The only bad thing about the chair mat is that the spikes on the bottom side wear down after a while due to the rollers on the computer chair.

Not thick or rigid enough for plush

I wish I could say this mat is perfect but I was disappointed to find that it was bendable enough to be rolled and put into a box for shipping. I expected it to be too rigid for that. It's a nice mat but not thick enough or rigid enough for plush carpet with a thick pad underneath. It would probably be best on low pile carpet with a thinner pad.
