Works pretty good but my 3/4" carpet is pushing the limit for this mat. It leaves indentations under the wheels of the chair. A thicker mat or one with deeper cleats might work better on 3/4" carpets.

Great matts! Seems I need to replace them every few years since they wear through at my desk at home. Maybe I'll go for the longer guarantee matt next time. Please forward any coupons on the matts so I can save a few bucks on the next one. Thanks Harry

If you use your desk on a daily basis go for the "high pile" version of a chair mat. This one looks like it will hold up. The "low usage" version fell apart in a few months. So far so good on this one.

Purchased for our home office. This was one of the few items we could find online for thick-pile (7/8") carpet. My daughter works in an office and is more familiar with various chair pads. She was immediately impressed by the quality on this one. Free standard shipping was incredibly fast—arrived less than 24 hours after we placed our order.

I bought a chair mat not a shipping label

The chair mat was fine it was the shipping label affixed directly to the mat that was the problem. It was a mighty struggle with lots of scraping and effort to remove it. Despite all a sticky residue remains. One would think Staples would have better sense than to put the label right on something that is going to be seen and used.
