High Pile Carpet Chair Mat Item: 900061

Junk! I purchased this chair mat specifically because it was designed for carpets up to 1-inch thick. Absolutely false. My old chair mat that was yellowing and cracking did a better job than this mat. Just the weight of my chair alone causes indentations in the mat. And when I am in the chair the indentations are so bad I amost need to stand up in order to move the chair. And my combined padding and carpet is almost 3/4" so I figured this mat would be more than what I needed. Wrong! This mat is nowhere close to being usable on carpet up to 1" maybe 1/4" and less. If I could return it I would.

Just purchased. It is hard to give a review at this point. Reviews should be given at least a year after purchase to evaluate how the object has held up. My last chair mat cracked in less than a year. Not sure about this one.

Too pliable....chair sinks into the mat even after careful selection at the Staples store. We have ordered a replacement ...same size but firm for OVER TWICE the price which won't be delivered until sometime in August. We are very pleased with Staples free delivery. It. Helps take away the agrivation.

Service it's purpose. Tends to move a bit with chair moving back and forth Next time would probably get a heavier or thicker mat. Does protect the carpet.

This chair mat seems good quality but the 5 wheels of my office chair sink into the mat and the pile of my rug is not that deep which is why I said I wish it were thicker or stiffer. It does seem to stay in place well. I would probably buy it again as the price was reasonable and it just takes a little extra push if I've been in the same place for a while.
