Very pleased with this product. And I thank the young man who helped me to select it when I visited your Broadway/8th St. store. He scanned the screen in the store so that I was able to see various mats leading me to purchase the one that I selected. All went very well. Thank you.

The info says for medium pile carpets. I would guess that this should be for low pile carpets. The nubs do not keep the chairmat from moving.

High pile carpet chair mat with lip

Haven't had it long enough to find out if it's going to crack or not Mat is Just a little to soft for plush high pile carpet as a Chair with rollers sinks in I would have bought a harder mat but they don't come with a lip.

Staples Flat Pile Carpet Mat

When I viewed this item on the Staples web site the picture looked like it was a "flat pile carpet" (an actual rug) but when I received it it was a clear plastic mat. I was disappointed at first but then after it was put down under my husband's new office chair I decided maybe the plastic mat would work better (and last longer) than a rug mat to protect the wood floor.
