A little pricey but it might be worth the extra. I have a pretty thick carpet and work from home on it every day and it stays smooth and flat on it.

This is a nice heavy duty mat. I cannot report on its long term use but right now it is great. It doesn't "roll" or "give" when I roll over it and that is a plus.

The mat was great --- but the lip was too wide to fit under my desk so I had to return it. The product description did not say how wide the lip was.

I am not happy with the chair mat. It is supposed to be for high pile carpet but the chair sinks into the mat and leaves indentations. I am probably going to return the mat.
