Chair Roller mat for high pile carpet

The chair mat that I purchased was one that should work well with high pile carpets. It crawls and bunches up when it crawls up against some thing such as a desk. I wish I had'nt bought it. Not happy with the purchase. It needs to be twice as thick to be stable enough.

It fit perfectly under my desk and didn't take up excess room space. I have a large room but it is long and narrow and this works fine.
