The Low Pile Carpet Chair Mat is somewhat of a disappointment. The product is too soft for its intended use leaving ruts and dents in its surface and thus making it harder to roll your chair to various areas surrounding your work space.When the product was received from shipping it came rolled up! I immediately suspected something was askew.Every plastic chair mat I have used in the past has had a hard surface and does not bend nor can it be rolled.I now live with the one I have until I can find the hard surface one I have known and liked for many years.I do not recommend this mat. Keep looking until you find the hard surfaced non flexible not dentable and non-groovable one that this is.

After trying to move rolling chair around on a carpet this chairmat is a big improvement. Because there is not a lip on the edge it is very easy to roll back onto the mat if a wheel goes off. Small indentations from the wheels do occur where the chair sits most of the time when I am working but they do not cause any problem when moving the chair around on the mat. I would not hesitate to purchase this product again if I needed another one.

It is a definite must have; however it does shift a bit and requires repositioning more frequently than desired. The size is generous and fits nicely. I do have a high pile carpet but would like something that stays in place better and for a longer period of time.I would recommend it unless something better can be found.
