The mat is a little rubbery; thus flexible. While this should help it last (vs. the stiff one’s cracking over time) it will cause your chair wheels to sink in; thus creating little depressions which you have to force the chair out off as you adjust your sitting position or want to slightly scoot up/back/over.

Would have considered a different mat if I had seen it in a store

I was disappointed the mat was so flexible. It arrived rolled up and after two days I put it outside in the sun to flatten it out. The casters on my chair make indentations. But the chair rolls easier than on carpet and if it protects the carpet from stretching that's what I bought it for. Concerned the indentations will lead to tears.

Recnetly purchased the above product. Needed a larger mat for my desk chair. The rectangular one did not have a lip. Thus my feet were always on the carpet....dirtying it.This did the trick....and is much more durable. Good product. No disllkes.
