The mat is good quality and fits well under my desk. But I was appalled at the way it was delivered. It was on my doorstep on the ground with no protective covering at all! It got a little scrapped in the process. And it was signed for by the person who delivered it not me. I was home but no one rang the bell.

Feels Great -- Chair Mat for 1 inch Pile

This is around the 7th chair mat I've purchased in 21 years. They've all eventually cracked up and used to be very sharp with the stabilizing points on the bottom. This one has shorter pegs that are not overly sharp saving my hands. It feels just like all of the others and fits nicely now that I have a corner wrap-around desk. The old one with the lip didn't look good on an angle. I've purchased these that supposedly had a lifetime warranty but that never materialized. I expect this will last like the others around 3 years and I'm only 180 lbs. with 5 castors on my chair. Feel great after the old one that was all cracked up with a chunk missing.

This is a great chair mat if you have a thick carpet. It holds up very well to a lot of wear and tear and does not crack easy like many others.
