Excellent Chair Mat

I purchased this mat because we had changed flooring from carpet to laminate and I did not want the wheels on my desk chair to scratch new flooring. I ordered the 36" X 48" and it fits perfectly under the desk with enough room for me to back up the chair. A lot of people have said that these are slippery once the chair is on it it does not move. I like the fact that it is clear so that my new floor can be seen thru it. Every so often I will pick up mat and wipe it down on both sides just to keep it free from any possible grit that may collect. This was a great purchase extremely fast shipping and it was ready to lay when it arrived. Thank you Staples for offering this mat at such a great price :)

By my computer our swivel managers chair had worn away (about 1/8" rut) and we couldn't afford new flooring for the 3 rooms. So I filled cracks (and even replaced some wood strips sanded stained and then varished the imperfections to make it level again. Then we bought this floor saver....just the right amount (a corner computer table) for our swivel 5 legged chair. Plenty of room to roll around. and nice to put my feet on the ground without worrying about splinters. I've heard the ones for carpet (abet thicker with stakes so they don't slide) also are very good.

Decent mid-size mat for hard floors

a standard hard floor mat. We are using it on a kids desk over hardwood floors. Comes rolled up which does take some time to flatten out.

I bought this mat for an office with hardwood floors. The mat was less expensive than upgrading the casters on the desk chair. However the mat slides on the hardwood floor and is constantly shifting positions. I will return it and buy new casters instead.

Look great and work great. Maybe add like 4 small pieces of sticky tape to keep them in place on the hard floor. Great Purchase and will order more when the need arises.
