I have a rolling office chair and a hardwood floor. This plastic mat fits right between the two. I don’t notice any difference in how my chair moves so there’s that.

I have hard wood floor and use the mat at my computer desk. The only complaint I have is the mat is not big enough and the chair always rolls off the mat. End up buying another larger mat and put this one at my son's desk where he does not have a rolling chair.

Excellent quality product. Fairly easy to move across the floor on a lightly used floor carpet. The only drawback it does not have handles molded into the mat shape for easier mobility.
