For everyday use this may be too thin for any carpet. I have it in my study and it works for me; I spend about 2 hours in my study.

the plastic is too thin to be really useable but it was inexpensive. Will need to buy a good one soon though.

Small & so-so

It's smaller than I expected it to be which is OK for my use (under the cat box)but I'm not sure I would like it at a desk. And it has the grippers for carpet but still "moves" a lot across the carpet. I have to pick up one end and reposition it at least once a week. But the price was right for what I'm using it for! If I write 400 characters I get 5 bonus points but I'm not sure what the points are for?? Guess I'll go for it anyway because I'm getting real close on number of characters. - oh well!

I thought the price was a little expensive for a plastic mat but for saving a carpet the expense is justified.
