Flexes under chair wheels. Improvement?

This chair mat flexes under the weight of a chair's wheels so an occupied chair stays in place unless given a definite scoot. It's soft enough to be rolled up so it's easy for one person to wrangle it into place especially since its gripping side has a pattern of alternating little rectangular cleats instead of pointy spikes. Grips carpet well. Five stars for home office/dorm use.

I gave this away and did not even use it one time in my office. That is how much I disliked the mat.

The only "down" side to this chair mat is I feel it is a bit thin in construction. Chair wheels still make carpet dents but they aren't as bad as without the mat

Dear Staples I bought this about two weeks ago and it was delivered about a week ago. It has so many divits in it from my chair with wheels that I also bought at Staples about a month ago. I am hoping to return it when it safer to go into the store. I cannot believe it has not even lasted a week or so. I am upset and extremely disappointed as I need this for my office. I cannot buy a bigger one as my office and desk are on the small side.
