Washable glue sticks

These washable glue sticks ars really good and easy to use especially when dealing with young children and helping them on their creative arts projects for school and church activities. I find them extremely practical because the glue washes off so easily and doesn't create a huge mess to clean up either. They are also very reasonably priced as compared to glue sticks that can be bought at drugstores and places other than Staples. I prefer to g to Staples anyhow because the service and convenience of the store location as well!!!

I use Staples Washable Glue Sticks (comparable to Elmer's Glue Sticks) for temporary holding fabric together in quilting such as in applique bindings mitered corners and joining complicated pattern pieces prior to stitching. It does not stain can be removed easily with a damp cloth while still damp will re-stick if fabric needs to be adjusted and after it dries will dissolve in the wash so does not leave a hard edge. Staples brand is a little cheaper than Elmer's and FAR cheaper than "fabric glue sticks" (which are the same formula). I put a tiny drop of water in the cap and store cap-side down and this preserves the freshness (glue sticks should not be used if they get overly sticky and do not work at all after they dry). I even built a glue stick holder by screwing a cap onto a block of wood for temporary capping during a project. Good product!

I was disappointed with my last purchase of your Washable Glue Sticks. So far two of the five sticks have failed to advance upward when I had to adjust their height.

Great Glue

I found this glue very handy and easy to use which is as it should be. However the surprising thing was is that it is better than the name brand. It is firmer so it spreads better than the name brand which is kind of soft and sometimes makes globs when you spread it. Because of this it also last longer.

Staples Glue Sticks work just as good as the other name brands but at a lower price. I choose them because of the lid... not like other brands that have sheath closure as they dry out. The lids make sure the glue is closed and won't dry out.
