My main use was for school papers cut out and applied to heavier paper later to be laminated. These were used in the classroom as individual work stations. I did for my daughter. I probably should have used larger sticks as I kept running out. A little messy as the edges left some on the table Good to be washed off.
I noticed that these colored glue sticks don't go on purple as advertised. They also don't adhere very well. Maybe I got a bad one but I wasn't very impressed with the initial use.
My son had a project of cutting out magazine pictures and pasting them to a poster board. No mess what so ever on him or my table. What a nice change from previous projects.
